The United Islands of Rieja (UIR) was established March 16, 1617;
300 years ago, the founders of Rieja, the Great Queens, Alexa and Halle, were set to rule by their families. Before their reign of power the Gods of Rieja told the people that anyone who ruled, had the Divine Right, and had the power of the Gods behind them, in the religion of Swaggism. In 1995, Alexa was born, And Soon Followed Halle in 1996. They were both born from the Queen, Lina. When Queen Lina passed her daughters took over, as it was their Divine Right, and they've been ruling ever since. Everyone in The United Islands of Rieja and its inhabitants also Worships Drake(Aubrey Drake Graham) and Aaliyah.

In The United Islands of Rieja, we have many items of national pride. Our National Bird is the beautiful Rainbow Lorikeets. Our National Fish is the Juvenile Emporer Angel Fish. Our national Flower is the Stapelia Star Flower. Our national Fruit is Bananas. Rieja's National Gem is the Amethyst. Rieja's Motto is "Don't Go Through Life, Grow Through Life." Rieja is A very Special Country Because it has two Anthems, One for Each Queen. Alexa's Riejian Anthem is Miss Me, By Rieja's God, Drake. Halle's Riejian Anthem is Rock the Boat, By Rieja's Goddess, Aaliyah.

Rieja has many different types of Terrains on its island. Rieja is comprised of Rain Forests, Jungles, Plains, and City. All of these various types of Scenery help to make Rieja the Beautiful island that it is. It also helps to attract tourist from all around the world; there are many resorts and national parks for these tourist to visitThe UIR is about 2x's bigger than the state of Hawaii and 1/2 the state of the size of Alaska; The climate is very tropical and very wet, there's only a slight variation throughout the year.
Rieja has 4 Natural Resources. These consist of Diamonds, Tidal Energy, Fruits, and Petroleum; About 20% of Rieja's land is arable and there's 5% permanent crops which are exported (See Economy). Although Rieja is Beautiful and full of life, there's the occasional mudslide problem and we also have an issue with deforestation that is being taken care of. Our deforestation process began as the economy expanded and the business world expanded with trade and such matters; our mudslide problem has always been an issue because of our mountainous terrain and sloping hillsides, but we've built dams so clog up the mud when storms hit, but it is still a problem in some of the more rural areas of Rieja.

The Most Popular Meal for Lunch time in Rieja is Mozzarella Sticks and Chicken Parmesan. Here in Rieja, We have 4 Major Holidays. The First One is on January 17. It is called AlexA. This Holiday is Commemorated for When Alexa became one of the queens of Rieja. The Second one is National Drake Day, which is celebrated on October 24. This was the Day that the God Drake was supposedly Born. The Third Holiday is Halle-Lujah, which is on March 16. This is a very Holy Holiday for the Riejians. It is dedicated to Halle, the other Queen of Rieja. Lastly, the Fourth Holiday is Called Aaliyah-Mas. This Day is just like Christmas in America. This is the day when presents are exchanged by everyone. This Holday is held on August 17.
In Rieja's Culture, it is normal to go shopping at least twice a week.
It is also considered normal to have a different car for each day of the week.

In Rieja, It is customary to Take off shoes before entering a house, a store, and a restaurant. It is also a custom to have a funeral ceremony that lasts three days. Rieja's people have the belief that if you wear the same outfit more than once you're dirty and the Gods will not accept you. Also, it's a Taboo to be out of the latest fashions and you mustn't ever keep a car for more than a year at time.

Rieja's Government is based on the British system of governing, however there are some slight differences. Also, their is a federal power distribution in Rieja and they have a Presidential Parliamentary. I.e They have a President and Queens; See? Slight Differences. The Subdivisions of Power are in 5 Locations: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th Districts; With each district being within 10 mile radius of the Next. The First district is within a 10 mile radius in each direction of the Capital of Rieja. This state of Government was established on June 16, 1893 after there independence 3 months before on March 26, 1893. There's no political party function; only the Royal Family and the President Rule.

Excecutive

There is one president of Rieja, however, the heads of government are the Queens, Alexa and Halle. Elections for President are held only at the Queens Discretion; but primarily after a 3 year term, the election of president takes place. As of now, the President of Rieja is Aaliyah and Drake's descendant, Christopher Maurice Brown aka Chris Brown. He is the youngest President they've ever had in terms of experience; he is frequently traveling seeing as he is a hip-hop/rap/r&b star, but he handles he Presidential duties faithfully.

They have a life term; they are only succeeded by their heirs; since they have none (as they are very young) they will be succeeded by the President until they have heirs. They have the power the veto law before the Queens ever see it if he sees fit; however the law may still be overridden by the Queens if they see the law is just and fair for all. In the Legislative Branch their are two houses as well: The House of Lealle & The House of AlexeThe Judicial Branch also has 2 Houses but they're requirements are the same as the Legislative Branch. Those are The House of Alake and The House of Draaliyah. The Duties of the Judicial are different however from those of the Legislative; The Parliament acts as the Queens' Cabinet if the State should go into an Emergency Phase Act . ; Requirements of the Parliament are as follows:

We, the Queens of Rieja, seeking the blessing of Drake and Aaliyah, recalling the events in our history, in order to improve our country's longevity and tolerance level with one another, would like to create a constitution for our citizens. This Constitution will state laws that we deem as necessary, and will need to be followed. These laws will be followed by every one who is in Rieja. The laws goes as follows, but is not limited to:
1.The United Islands of Rieja is a Presidential Parliamentary.
2.This Constitution is the Supreme law of the Islands.
3. All business transactions and other legal matters will be completed in Rieja's official language, English.
4.Although Religion and Government are Separate, Rieja's Government and Its Citizens acknowledge that the worship and reverence of Drake and Aaliyah are the source of a great governmental system and leadership.
5. Citizenship may be acquired by birth, registration, or naturalization.
6.Every Person has a Right to Life.
7.A person may not be deprived of personal liberty.
8.All citizens, women and men, are legally equal once they turn 17 years old.
9.Any person who is arrested or detained has the right to be informed of the reason they are being arrested and are allowed to communicate with their spouse/family member to bail them out of jail.
10. Any person accused of an offence has the right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty,.
11. Every person has the right to freedom of speech and expression.
12. Every person has the right to assemble and demonstrate with others peacefully.
13.Every Citizen has the right to enter and remain in Rieja whenever they want to.
